The January 2021 Transportation Policy Board meeting materials have been posted, including a first glimpse at the draft Skagit 2045 Regional Transportation Plan!
The Transportation Policy Board (TPB) is the governing body for SCOG’s role as a Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and Regional Transportation Planning Organization (RTPO). View the current TPB membership here.
At the January meeting, the TPB may take action to release the draft Skagit 2045 Regional Transportation Plan for a formal public comment period.
There are already some changes to make before the final document is ready. These mainly include formatting changes, like finishing up some informational maps. Please note that public comment is not allowed during the GoToMeeting remote meetings, but you’re welcome to send comments to markh@scog.net by Tuesday, January 19. These will be read into the record during the meeting.
That’s all for now! In the coming weeks, we’re hoping to release some of the elements of the draft RTP as interactive maps so that they’re more accessible and readable for you. We’ll also notify you when the formal public comment period for the draft begins. Expect another update soon, and thanks again for your participation and involvement.
Best wishes,
